Aleia, an associate in the firm’s Business Restructuring, Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy group, represents clients in and out of court in a broad range of restructuring and transactional matters.
Prior to joining Thompson Hine, Aleia served as a law clerk for the Hon. Margaret B. Seymour of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. She was also an associate at a global law firm based in Atlanta where she focused on counseling clients on matters related to all areas of financial restructuring.
In law school, Aleia served as the senior research editor for the South Carolina Law Review and tutored constitutional law. She also received the CALI Secured Transactions award.
