Bisphenol A (BPA) has been the subject of increased scrutiny by both consumer groups and governmental bodies in the U.S. and abroad. In some countries, legislation has been passed disallowing inclusion of BPA in products targeted for use by infants and children. Similar legislation is currently being proposed or has been passed in a number of states domestically, and the list of states considering such legislation is likely to expand going forward. This legislation raises concerns in fields such as Product Liability, Consumer Protection Law, and Governmental Regulation.
